1. Description
Driver IC designed for full-color LED display, 16 channels of PWM constant current output, 1~32 can be scanned at will. ICN2153 integrates “Noise Free TM” technology, which has excellent anti-interference characteristics, so that the constant current and low gray effects are not affected by the PCB board. Different external resistors can be used to adjust the output stage current and accurately control the LED brightness.
ICND2153 Driver IC will cache the input 16-bit data and convert it into grayscale output, and improve low-gray display consistency by optimizing PWM output. LED open circuit detection is integrated internally, thus solving the problem of open circuit crosses. The internal self-built blanking circuit can effectively eliminate ghost hidden.
ICND2153 adopts precise current control technology internally, which can make the inter-chip error less than ±2.0% and the inter-channel error less than ±2.0%. In terms of display, it can effectively solve problems such as low gray blocks, color casts, pitting, and the first line being dark.
2. Compare ICN2053 and ICND2153
- The IDD current of ICND2153 is smaller than that of ICN2053, which is 5mA while ICN2053 is 9mA.
- ICND2153 has a fixed 8x refresh rate, while ICN2053 can only adjust 4 levels of refresh rate (1, 2, 4, 8 times).
- ICND2153 has a power saving function, which can be enabled by setting the grayscale to 0 (register setting starts when the grayscale is 0), while ICN2053 does not have this function.
